Invest in Al Hoceima

Invest in Al Hoceima, Morocco: a stunning Mediterranean bay, national marine park, fishing and blue economy, boutique tourism and territorial investment premiums.

Attached to the region in 2015, Al Hoceima is its eastern Mediterranean face. Around one of the Mediterranean’s most dramatic bays, between limestone cliffs and the beaches of Quemado and Sfiha, lies the Al Hoceima national park — Morocco’s largest protected marine area.

Blue economy first

Fishing remains the leading productive sector: the port lands bluefish, swordfish and shellfish for national and export markets. Fleet modernisation, cold-chain, quayside processing and aquaculture are priority niches under the national Halieutis and blue-economy strategies.

Tourism with room to grow

A mild microclimate, turquoise coves and the Rif hinterland set the stage for human-scale coastal and nature tourism: family and boutique hotels, diving, hiking. Strong domestic demand and the large Rif diaspora in Europe guarantee a long season and loyal repeat visitors.
